BOAS Council Elections
There is now a very exciting opportunity for BOAS members to become more involved with the Society as we currently have two vacancies on BOAS Council.
Being part of Council can help you shape the future of ophthalmic anaesthesia.
Council members have been involved in writing national guidelines, organising the annual scientific meeting and representing the UK at the World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia.
We welcome applications for places on Council from any permanent member of BOAS.
(Permanent members are those who have been issued a membership number after setting up a standing order payment to BOAS).
The term of office is three years.
If you wish to be considered for a place on BOAS Council then you will need to send a personal statement of up to 250 words which includes details of your current work in ophthalmic anaesthesia and an outline of what you might contribute to the work of BOAS.
Applications should be sent to the Honorary Secretary Dr Jo Budd via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The closing date is the 28th February 2019
