The British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society is an organisation of Anaesthetists, Ophthalmologists and other clinicians who are committed to sharing education and information which will enable them to provide the highest level of anaesthetic management during ophthalmic surgery.

NEW: Important Notices

Documents and letters pertaining to the Council Elections and BOAS ACCEA 2011 are now available under their own sections on the Important Documents section, which has now been expanded and has its own page. A link to the Important Documents page has been included in the menu to the left of each page.

Ophthalmic Anaesthesia

In order to reflect the role of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia as the society journal, it has been renamed from Ophthalmic Anaesthesia News. The first edition of the revised publication is available on the Ophthalmic Anaesthesia page.

UPDATED: BOAS 2010

The 11th BOAS Annual Scientific Meeting will take place on Tuesday 23rd November at the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) in London. A copy of the programme and registration form can be found on the Events page. Completed registration forms should be returned directly to the RCoA. World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia

The 3rd World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia will be held in Turkey, 24th to 25th May 2012. Further details will be posted as they become available.
