The British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society is an organisation of Anaesthetists, Ophthalmologists and other clinicians who are committed to sharing education and information which will enable them to provide the highest level of anaesthetic management during ophthalmic surgery.

UPDATED: World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia

The 3rd World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia will be held in Turkey, 24th to 25th May 2012. Please visit the Events Page for further information.

BOAS 2012 will be held in Exeter on 16th November 2012. Further details will be added to the Events Page when they are available.

Continuing Professional Development

There is now a new section on the site dedicated to CPD. This has been added as a menu option on the left hand side.

Ophthalmic Anaesthesia

In order to reflect the role of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia as the society journal, it has been renamed from Ophthalmic Anaesthesia News. The first edition of the revised publication is available on the Ophthalmic Anaesthesia page.
